How to connect
1Open Shopify in Connectors
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, choose Shopify, and click Connect. The Connect Shopify window asks for one thing: your store.
2Enter your store
Type your store's myshopify.com address, like your-store.myshopify.com. The store name alone, or a link from your Shopify admin, works too.
3Install the StefanBrain app in Shopify
Click Continue in Shopify. Shopify admin opens the StefanBrain app's install page, lists the access it asks for, and installs it once you approve.
4Link your store
The app says your store is ready to link. Click Link My StefanBrain Account, then Link Store, and Shopify shows as connected in Connectors.
Good to know
- Shopify connects through the StefanBrain Shopify app, so there is no token to create, copy, or paste.
- You can also start in Shopify: install the StefanBrain app there, then link it to your StefanBrain account the same way.
- Connected your store before the app? Reconnect it from Connectors, and the app takes over that same connection.

Why does StefanBrain connect through a Shopify app?
Shopify grants store access through apps. Installing the StefanBrain app shows exactly what it can read and change, and the access stays tied to your store.
What can StefanBrain see in my store?
Products, orders, customers, discounts, inventory, themes, pages, and files: the access the app asks for at install. Shopify lists all of it before you approve.
Can StefanBrain change my store without asking?
No. Write actions are classified separately from reads, and tool permissions let you require approval or block writes entirely.
How do I remove access?
Disconnect Shopify in StefanBrain's Connectors to stop using it in chat. Uninstall the StefanBrain app in your Shopify admin to revoke the app's access to the store.
Does this work with multiple stores?
Yes. Install the app on each store and link each one, and every store becomes its own connection. Pick the right store when you ask questions.
